An interactive website explaining the production, the story making, the design of my original story written, directed and produced by me and my virtual production team. The Website will consists of voice narratives, behind the scenes images and perhaps clips. Along with some interviews with some of the people we work with. Since the series isn't fully done being produced yet, we'll mostly be showing behind the scenes and the progress of work we've gotten done. Users will be able to learn about a new form of entertainment and story telling using Minecraft the video game as a platform to produced stories.

Documentary > From One World to Another: Emigration in the 1950s
My name is Jay Una Murphy and I am a second year Cinema Communications student. This project is a personal testament to my grandma’s strength leaving everything she knew and loved behind, to move to an entirely new country seeking better prospects and job opportunities for herself and her family.
A brief web-documentary simulation whose themes will revolve closely around displacement, isolation and new beginnings. Much of the inspiration comes from my grandmother's emigration from Ireland to Canada in 1957. The intention for this project is to illustrate her most profound experiences when leaving her home country, from culture shock to eventual acclimatization. By retelling this story, which is close to my heart, I hope that viewers may relate to her experiences, even if in a distant of way.
